The 2024 soccer season is coming up quickly and preparations are already being made for the fall season! A parent/player informational meeting will be held in the spring (April 24th @ 7:30pm), but please see below for some information:

- Open Field information:
- Open Fields will start June 4th and are 7:00-8:30pm on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
- All Open Fields are optional (although highly encouraged!)
- Dead Period: June 25th through July 9th – NO contact with any coaches during this time.
The 2024 tryouts will take place July 15th (8:00am-9:30am AND 6:00pm-7:30pm) & July 16th (8:30am-Noon AND 6:00-7:30pm). Players will be assigned a time slot after the July 15th sessions for the July 16th am slot so that we can give all players appropriate field/waiting time during 11v11. Teams will be posted to the website the evening following the last tryout. Attendance is required at all of the tryout sessions. Please bring your ball, shin guards, cleats, running shoes, and water.
Tryouts will consist of the following:
- Complete a 1.5 mile run in 12 minutes (goal time)
- Participate in 4 training sessions (one immediately following the 1.5 mile run) incorporating both technical and tactical soccer skills.
You MUST have the following forms completed, printed and signed in order to try out:
- KHSAA_Physical – KHSAA just updated – any new physicals MUST be in this format.
- 2024 LHS Girls Soccer packet – All forms are required for tryouts.
There will be a Uniform Distribution/Pizza Party on July 17th for the players AND parents. Please come prepared with check/cash for insurance and a calendar for volunteer sign up.

FUNDRAISING INFORMATION:
Fundraising is essential to giving the girls the best season and experience possible. Please read the Booster Club Letter for important information regarding fundraising!
A separate check made out to Lafayette High School for $50 to cover insurance & athletic fee will be due as well.
Volunteers make our program run! Parents will have an opportunity to sign up for various volunteer roles at uniform/equipment pickup as well.
